It's 5060 for both incoming and outgoing ...

6060 is what the SoftPhone uses ... but it seems the config file and the softphone maybe authenticated differently from each other...

Depending on your provider the easiest way is to go under the User Tab, under the Selective Call Forward Settings ...

Set it such that whenever the number calls he's forwarded to
*266300@sipbroker.com ...that's the BlueFace server playing monkey sounds for test purposes :D
Always the same number and my provider is FPL.

Cool,
*266300@sipbroker.com is "*" a part of it?

(paid) Voxalot seems to be not working for incoming (with port 5060)

Yep...

make sure to match the CID

800XXXXXXX vs. 1800XXXXXXX will make a difference...

you could always do Cfwd Sel2 with 1800XXXXXXX

If you want to test if it works properly replace 800xxxxxxx with one of your numbers and call the FPL line and see what happens

You right 1800XXXXXXX doesn't work but 800XXXXXXX is blocked.
I tested with my number by replacing 800XXXXXXX number but only get busy tone but no monkey sounds played. Am I missing something? Do I also need to touch Call Forward Settings section?

Thanks

No I don't think so....

-Either FPL does not support SIP URI calls (in which case you'll have to settle for just the busy tone)
-Or under the corresponding line tab (eg Line 1 corresponds with User 1) there is a:

'Cfwd Sel Serv': which should be set to Yes
'Make Call Without Reg': Should be set to Yes
'Enable IP Dialing': Should be set to Yes

If it works at this point, great...if it doesn't try to make sure:
'Use DNS SRV'
'DNS SRV Auto Prefix'

are set to no...

Any chance you have a PBXes acct. already ... I can confirm that it works there...you can then always have PBXes simply forward to VoXalot via SIP...

but still get busy tone.

I think busy tone is good enough for me, thank you very much for your help!

BTW, what's 'Make Call Without Reg' setting for? - got it, never mind.

FPL incoming works ok with Mysipswitch/Sipsorcery, but unfortunately Mysipswitch/Sipsorcery is not reliable and often is down

Hi, emoci,

I tried from my freephoneline.ca client to call a SIPbroker access number to test if it can reach my TPAD account, but failed.

I called 6474763733 then *8142* then my TPAD number, but my TPAD number did not ring.

Anything wrong with the process?

Thank you.

I'd give it a second try and see how it goes ... I've tested both of my FPL accts. and it seems to be sending out the number ...

That said I have one PM that raises a similar issue about unknown CID ... (it could've been a one-off time-frame)
Correct. I have raised CID issue with FPL but still no answer.

Thank you for this amazing guide emoci! Really good stuff!

I followed it and get my first voip phone setup with freephoneline.ca and nonoh.net with Pbxes. Call quality is way beyond my expectation, and many features waiting for me to play around.

Keep on the good job!
