Free or inexpensive dental care

A friend of mine who doesn't have much money had what seemed to have an abscessed tooth. So I told him about the U of T's clinic and they took care of him. I seem to remember reading on RFD some colleges that offer free or inexpensive cleaning by students under the supervision of a qualified dental hygienist. I did a search but could not find anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions or know of a college that offer this type of service preferably downtown Toronto?

There's always Donny's Discount Dentistry - but it's not downtown - it's out at the Dixie Value Mall.

Not sure, but I thought George Brown's Casa Loma campus had dentistry and they did thing like this.

Just get the tooth pulled, if you go to the right place it will not be expensive and well worth getting rid of it.
