ARRIVE EARLY! SEATING IS FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED, EXCEPT FOR MEMBERS OF THE
REVIEWING PRESS. THIS TICKET DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU A SEAT! THEATRE IS
OVERBOOKED TO ENSURE A FULL HOUSE.

Probably won't be able to get in

Yeah, this is pretty useless. I've gone to similar screenings in the US where they don't do this crap. Not worth the attempt.

I've always gotten pretty good seats when I've arrived 1 hour early.

Been going to screenings for decades, they have always has this disclaimer. Never had a problem getting in, and have even managed to get in just before showtime (just with lousy seats).

The wait was less painful than the screening. At least I could surf the web while I waited. The movie was total crap, more stupid than funny. Had I watched the trailer, I would've adjusted my expectations. Nonetheless, thanks OP.
