Thanks for the phone number pathfinder. I emailed them yesterday, and they could not find my US info.pathfinder35 wrote: ↑Nov 29th, 2013 4:22 pmYou didn't mention if you tried to call them or just checked by trying to login online. You could call 1-800-627-6367 to inquire about your sub - the CSR may be able to find your sub even though you can't - then you could just ask for the account number or have them change the address for you.
Or just wait a little longer. I haven't sub'ed thru Recyclebank to Details so not sure if it's slower than other freebie sites.

You're right - looks like they want you to pay. How strange! You can call recyclebank at 888.727.2978 (Monday-Friday - 8am - 9pm EST or other forms of contact listed in this SD thread post) or Forbes at 1-800-295-0893 to get it figured out. OR just cancel the sub and try again or order it for RewardsGold or RewardSurvey.JacobF710 wrote: ↑Nov 29th, 2013 5:02 pmhttp://oi42.tinypic.com/15d8h2s.jpg
:/ seems like they want me to pay $60
Maybe the USA address you used already had a sub and they owed on it??? Only thing I can think of...

Made an account but see nowhere where I can delete my sub.. eh whatever I guess? I used the address of some library n the States I hope it won't hurt them.pathfinder35 wrote: ↑Nov 28th, 2013 4:13 pmHere it is - https://mycart.lef.org/Account/Register/Index - I think I just created an account, added a billing/shipping address and somehow added a free magazine subscription.
There is a link to magazine subscription at the bottom of this page - http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag2013/mag2013_01.htm - you have to create an account to access it.
Appreciate it.
Friend of mine subbed to "Outdoor Life" and I subbed to "Money". I already changed my address but he can't log into his account yet - any experience with how long it takes Outdoor Life to fulfill an order?

Had them cancel my subscription. Already had one with rewardsurvey, was planning to see if I could merge them, and to see which one would let me change my address first. (recyclebank won)pathfinder35 wrote: ↑Nov 29th, 2013 8:31 pmYou're right - looks like they want you to pay. How strange! I don't trust recyclebank anymore, they told me the subscription was paid for with a 'bill me' option. :/ Is it actually a legitimate site?
Now popular science was a breeze to change..sent them 2 emails (1 to get the copy/paste response, and 2 for actual english speaking human thought)

RecycleBank worked 3 times for me - no problem. 2 subscriptions of Car and Driver and a $5 Amazon gift card.JacobF710 wrote: ↑Nov 30th, 2013 2:23 pmHad them cancel my subscription. You can get 1 yr free sub - print or digital - to Better Homes & Gardens from Walmart at this page: http://www.bhgwalmartoffer.com/
You need to enter a US address and a Walmart receipt or order number - I used the example order number - 2677157924950 - and changed the last 2 digits until it worked.
edit: My new sub appeared at BHG website on Dec 7th, so only a week to process.

From SD thread http://slickdeals.net/f/6420220-1-year- ... dailybreak
http://www.dailybreak.com/ is a site with short quizzes and games on various topics where you can earn prizes towards raffle tickets, sponsored giveaways, etc.
Their "Prize Booth" now includes a store which currently offers (among other items) subscriptions to the following magazines:
Tips from one post:
"Don't fill in any of the questions, just click next and for the games press the I give up button to get to the end faster. Also at the end of each survey, rate the survey for an extra 1 pt and share game with friends option for another 2 pts. With each survey/game worth around 3 pts and the 3 extra pts, each survey should be worth 6 pts.
Takes about 1 hr to gather 400 pts. "
I have not compiled 400 pts yet so no experience with redemption process yet.
edit: I finally compiled 400 pts - ordered GQ - very simple process - just select GQ - enter US address and done. You can watch your point total count down the 400 pts as well if you're bored
. Note that once you order a mag, it disappears from your list of available prizes. You could create another id if you wanted to order a mag twice.
They send a confirmation email that states:
This email confirms your recent purchase in the Dailybreak Prize Booth for 12 month subscription from GQ Magazine. Your prize should be delivered in 2-4 weeks to the address that you provided below.
2-4 weeks is quicker than usual - I'll have to check in a couple days if the account has been setup at Conde Naste. I used a new US address as I didn't want my address to be changed back to a previously used USA address for all my Conde Nast magazine subs.
edit: Still no sub found after 1 month - I guess they aren't that quick....

Where can I get discount magazines using a canadian address and canadian currency?
(specifically Analog science fiction and fact/ Asimov's science fiction)
Free would be best.... But I doubt that's going to happen, and I don't trust their address switching policies with real money.

I would say 'You can't' but maybe someone else knows of such deals but they have never been posted on this thread. You could also post your request in the 'request a deal' forum.JacobF710 wrote: ↑Dec 4th, 2013 11:33 pmWhere can I get discount magazines using a canadian address and canadian currency?
