Welcome to the free mags thread, chrisryanrey! Please read the FAQ linked below for the steps on how to subscribe to US mags. Basically, you use a US mailing address and then after you determine the sub has been created, you change the subscription at the magazine's website to your Canadian address.

Is this a legit website? http://cdn.mercurymagazines.com/121-12198024/index.html

its only $2- per subscription. i just dont want to be hounded for more money, & hope they dont renew without my permisson.
?
The link you used is for a free mag. I think you are talking about the $2 offer you sometimes receive after filling out the freebie offer.

They will renew unless you cancel the sub.

The small print:
Magazine Offer Terms & Conditions: For the number of issues shown, the credit/debit card you provide will be charged $2 per selection. If you are not 100% satisfied with your selections, you may cancel by contacting question@bluedolphinmags.com. $2 fee is non-refundable. Limit one selection per magazine title. Blue Dolphin reserves the right to cancel an account at their discretion. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer and are for individual use only, not for resale. Prior to the end of your subscription period, we will send a renewal terms reminder notice via email and you authorize your account to be charged the rate on the notice for the next term of issues unless you choose to cancel. Renewal orders canceled after processing will be refunded for a prorated amount. If a magazine becomes unavailable, it may be replaced by another with the same renewal features. The number of issues in a magazine term is subject to change at any time. Blue Dolphin is not responsible for delivery issues due to incorrect or incomplete delivery address or to correctional facilitie
If you are going to try it, try to use a credit card gift card with a limited amount on it.

Here's the link I copied the fine print from: http://partner.techpapers.com/interstitial/(S(n5i4tkvh3w2bluzw5gtinc3s))/interstitial.aspx?promo=26601&wp=12432

edit: better link: http://workingadvantage.r.delivery.net/ ... 5FDUPcQZQ0
Note that you can get alot of these mags for free from Recyclebank...

I tried it before, but was never allowed to finalize the purchase because of a non USA credit card.

It would be nice to know if you succeed... For $2 you can't go wrong especially using a gift card, so there's no way of automatically renewing later on.
