the problem with Go Train service in R.Hill and Go train in general is that there are very few trains, only during morning rush and afternoon rush. if you need to get to school or off out of those times, you are outta luck.

if i dont take the Go Train, basically i needed to take Go BUS (Assuming i drove to go bus station) that go down either yonge or bayview which are always crowded to Finch and take TTC down.
it was horrible.

Yup I hear ya. To add insult to injury, they have jacked the prices of the TTC and Go Transit over the years.

They jacked the prices immensely. Go Transit ticket from Yorkdale to Bramalea is over 5 dollars + 1 ttc token. This is one way only. Going home would cost over $15 dollars a day. That's an expensive commute if you ask me.

There *is* real (not metered) free parking close to St.George/College - very few spots, very hard to find, and they get filled very very quickly.

Anybody park at the Dominion or 666 Spadina before? I'm willing to try it since I'm DT only once per week....so hopefully they won't notice

that'll take at least 1.5 hours+ not including wait time and walk time.

It depends on when you're leaving.
I would definitely say by GO Train (Port Credit station?) if you're leaving in the rush hour. The Mississauga Transit / subway way will take too long. The latter will be cheaper but not worth it.
If you're leaving during non-rush hour, I would say the bus/subway route is ok as long as you don't have to wait long for the bus. Is there a bus that runs along Lakeshore or Queensway?
Car pooling is also an option. Does RFD have a forum for that?
