the fossils and haggis/gas station area is probably the closest place to park to campus that's free

Finding a spot that's close to uni... that's another story. Then again, with the amount of careless kids banging doors on other cars, I don't care about close parking anyways. 30 seconds of walking is less of a headache than a dinged door.
Props for being able to personally afford such a nice car as a student. You must've worked a lot of extra hours.

I went once on a Sunday in Fall 2009 and bought a $5 ticket for the inner lot. I've used that same ticket for the last 6 months. So I've paid $5 for 6 months of parking lol.
I usually only take my car on weekends though, so maybe parking services are a bit more lax on saturdays and sundays.
still..it was a very well invested $5

Thanks, yes I do. 5 courses + 2 part time jobs totaling 35 hours a week
And it's not about having a nice car. I drive a entry level Japanese car
... I just don't want to have any needless dents in my doors regardless of what car I drive.

Reviving old thread since it's pretty important.
Important info I found:
- They seem to ticket most often on Tuesdays (plaza, community park)
- Library is mostly safe place to park (east of UTSC on ellesmere), make sure you enter the library for a few min then exit so they don't catch you just leaving your car there
- Plaza is a bit risk, lower the risk by visiting one of the stores for a few min and/or buying something
- Food Basics is completely safe but no one wants to walk like 20-25min
- Gas station is NOT safe
- There are a few spots beside the apartments near the gas station however these are mostly filled up
- Very few spots outside a school on Bobmar, safe if you're only gone for 1-2 hours
Any other places?
