Hello, most of our servers are located in Dallas Texas, but we also have servers in the UK and in Canada. Sadly with the Free plan you will not be able to choose the location.

Hi thanks for the great comments, as for the the website building if you just want to build a basic website there is a Web site builder called "RVsitebuilder" that comes with all our hosting plan (its in your Cpanel), if you are interested in making a more advanced website Hosterbox has been recently including Premium Template Monster templates with all paid hosting plans http://hosterbox.com/freetemplates.html The list might not be very big at the moment but we have just started including them and we are constantly adding to the list. If you are interested in any of these I might be able to give it to you for free with out the need of a purchase, just pm me the one you like. Now those are solutions that will help get you started but ultimately you should try to learn how to edit and code them. Here is a really good website that should help you understand and learn how to create pages and build a website http://www.how-to-build-websites.com/

When you click on the link you will be given 4 options

1. To register or buy a new domain
2.To transfer a domain
3 To update the name servers your self
4. and finally to create a sub domain

you simply have to pick the forth one and type in you proffered prefix if you already have a domain name you can simply select the third option and update everything yourself.

Also, is there anything special I need to do to switch between option 3 and 4? Say, if I want to change the VPS from a subdomain to a different standlone domain? Thanks.
