We have now been offering Free web hosting to RFD members, for almost 2 Years! We estimate that we have had about 4000-5000 sign ups on our free web hosting since!

I'm loving the free hosting. I've been with Hosterbox for about 6 months and have had a great experience. They host a personal website that basically provides me with an online resume. Thanks very much for the account guys! Keep up the great work.

We can confirm that the server is not in fact down, we are simply doing some last minute maintenance because of a few major security patches. We have also changed some DNS settings and we have had to limit access to the server but access will be restored soon. The only affected server is our Spock server. We are sorry for the inconvenience and if your running anything "mission critical" currently on our free web hosting we would recommend upgrading to our premium hosting as we can guarantee a 99.99% uptime on our cluster architecture (Even during updates). We simply can't offer the same degree of service for free.

Nothing mission critical and not complaining about it. I am very happy with the free service. And your paid service is very cheap too. Just a suggestion, if the free server is down for maintenance, could you send us an email. So I won't keep on poking all night long like last night.

Yep, we are performing a quick DNS change. Everything will be back to normal soon.

The changes have been complete. We will also be doing a bit more maintenance throughout the day. No downtime should be expected.
