depends on what is left in your tab credits that is why they are asked you to pay the remaining tab balance in your account to give way to a new phone.

Thank you for confirming! I just have no use for a new phone line. I thought maybe I could buyout my existing tab to get a S9/S9+, but I would lose the discounts I got originally on my iPhone 8+.

Let me try and get this straight. If someone goes in store to get this offer, it would be like this?

2yrs term is 960 (phone cost) - 480 (2yrs credit) = 480 tab
Phone plan 50/m
Trade in old phone 150 credit (can be used to lower tab)
So tab now is (480 - 150 = 330)
But if we pay 180 upfront then that tab (330) becomes 120 (330 - 180 - 120 = 30 saving)?

Am i close? if i am right then is this the best deal can be had at the moment or is there something better?
Math is wrong.

Tab is 480*tax-150, not (480-150=330)*tax

Lol ok my bad on the tax part. But aside from the tax. Everything seems correct? And is this the best deal for an s9 at the moment?

Im thinking of paying upfront $180 × 13% = $203 and have an opening tab $120 × 13% = $135 - 150 trade in = + $15

Summarized
203 + 135 - 150 = $188

Is my math still incorrect for what i am wanting to do? Because it seems too good to be true from all the info ive gathered in this thread.

The paying upfront part as listed by dlulove3 is throwing me off because doing that is a crazy discount. Which i think is kind of too good to be true.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like you subtracted the trade in credit 150 twice.

I refer to my previous post.

I placed a $100 deposit last week. She gave me a tab boost of $10 a month, and a down-payment of $240+taxes. I had a phone to trade in worth $150+$0

$960 - Samsung S9 Purple
- $240 - $10*24 myTab Boost
- $480 - Savings from using myTab Boost
= $240 down-payment, $720 tab balance

$240+tax (ON) = $271.20
- $100 deposit
- $150 trade-in bonus
Total today = $21.20

Final after 2 years = $100 deposit + $21.20 + $10*24*1.13 = $392.40

Here's what I got for an S9+ with the trade in for a broken worthless phone:
100$ deposit
1.70$ upfront cost of the phone
15$ tax x 24 months

That's 508.5$ tax in for the phone.

I am bit confused.

If I get the S9+, with a trade in of $150, but I only want the tab $10 to be added onto the plan, how much do I pay outright?

Edit:
Can anyone correct me if I am wrong

S9+ is $1100

-$500
- $150 (trade in)
- $240 ($10 tab)

I am left with $210 to pay upfront?

Correct, assuming you have a $50+ plan... plus tax of course.

If I could get the 25% off :(

Tried pretty much all stores in Mississauga, oakville and Burlington area.

One store said that it would have to be $75 plan in order to get the discount!! If any of you know any stores in downtown or west end that night still be offering the discount on $50 plan, would appreciate a pm

Why you didn't get it? Easy to change from 75-50 then get the s9.

Quick question. For the trade in does the phone need to be power on fully. I have my old g4 that stuck in the bootloop at the logo but otherwise "works". Would that be fine for the trade in?
