Freedom (Shaw) added LTE to older accounts
I did switch my plans after Shaw bought Wind.
Knew that holding off would pay off.

Instructions are just, set LTE as preferred and restart. I've got a Nexus 5X, anywhere I can check if it's supported?

They are upgrading, still the network is not set with new spectrum (time line is given on there site). so wait till the new spectrum not installed in your region after that repeat this process to access LTE network.

For your information, I am using their oldest back to school plan for $29 5GB data.
They finally give in and let everyone use LTE.

For your information, both note 4 and Nexus 5X and my Nexus 6p are not supported.
Wow. That is good speed. I hope it stays that way after more people starts using it.
