Is there a guide for setting up this service with a Obi200? I have the unlock code and all the info needed, but I have no idea where I need to go within the web access of the Obi200 to set it all up.

Thanks

EDIT: I used this one and it seems to work? Any other recommendations? https://freephonelinesetup.blogspot.com ... i-obi.html
@Webslinger has excellent voip/obi related posts, for some reasons he requested to close his account you can find his posts here

https://forums.redflagdeals.com/search. ... 8&sr=posts

He shows how to configure it (eg. How to pick the right server, access voice mail using *98 and a lot of other stuff)

Edit: had FPL for few years now and (as someone here said) my only regret is not signing up to it earlier. The hardest part was convincing my mom she won't notice any difference, I should've jumped in without telling her as the only thing she noticed was the added call display and the Canada wide calls

anyone knows where to subscribe to the cheapest 911 trunk?

i wouldn't want FPL for 911. Does unlimited fnogo at 4$/month gives free 911?

voip providers typically dont offer this to the same extent as land or cell phone providers.

It looks like he finally got frustrated with some posters pg 467 post #7000

Hope he returns in the future. Was very generous with his time helping everyone that requested help

Anyone running into this issue: Follow Me Settings is ignoring # of rings to go to the Follow Me Number.

- Follow Me is set to Enable
- Sequential
- Always Call Forward

If I disable Follow Me, my home phone will ring (so I know it works and is online)
If I re-enable Follow Me and change Sequential to Simultaneous, both home phone and Follow Me Number will ring
Changing the # of rings on the follow me number doesn't have any effect.
Power cycled the ATA, still no change. Cisco.
No changes to config or firmware in years.

Thanks in advance if you have any tips to fix this!

That's a shame.

He was always helpful and certainly invested a ton of time and forum real estate to inform and help troubleshoot.

This happens to us about once a year. Carries on once per hour through the night, so we have to turn off the phones until morning. No good blocking the caller ID, they just increment it (1004, 1005, 1006 etc.). No idea what idiocy drives them to do this. We change the SIP port number until they go away.

My obi200 has been running 3-2-2-5898EX, although it's been running fine it's a bit dated and hoping to update.

I'm wondering if FPL and GV users have had any problems with the latest version 3-2-2-5921EX?

I know if it ain't broke.....but curious
