Fresh Produce (Vegetables & Fruits etc)

Hey Guys,

I'm trying out a new "Anti Inflammation" diet. A large portion of this diet is a variety of fresh vegetables.

So I was looking for a good place to purchase a variety of "Fresh Produce" in Mississauga or West side of Toronto at reasonable prices, although I know healthy food isn't cheap.

I'm going to try http://www.theapplemarket.ca/ probably this coming Sunday.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The Apple Market was pretty good.

I'm going to try Longos tomorrow.

My comment was pretty straight forward. Their produce section is very small (at least the one close to me), and it's almost like it's an afterthought to their business. Maybe others might be better, but my experience with the one by me has not been all that great when it comes to fresh produce.

Best bet is farmers markets, at this time of year, farms. Not sure where your local farms are, but thats probably the 'freshest' bet you have.

Anti inflammatory diet? its a good diet.
Healthy food is cheap. Just know what to eat.

So far, Longos been the best. Though being winter, I really haven't ventured much.

Some No Frills have good fruit and veggies. The one at Dixie Mall has a big produce dept. Pineapples were only $1 last week
