^^ What's your humidity levels?
Is 40 good in the rooms?
If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it was, and always will be yours. If it never returns, it was never yours to begin with :|

did you measure the power consumption? The 50 pint sold in Canada has a different design than the 70 pint model.
adamm wrote: Ended up getting the 50 pint at $229 and it's doing just as good as the 70pint but more energy efficient. Thanks for the suggestion Quentin

The 50 pint is still on sale until July 1st, btw

the 70 pint model is good for a 3000 sq.ft house unless you serious moisture problems.

I didn't specifically measure the power consumption. What do you mean by different "design"?

I have a 2600 sq.ft. house and was using the 70pint in my 1200 sq ft unfinished basement and it was unnecessary. The 50 pint pulls in the same amount of water in a day (in my case) and uses less energy. the 30 pint would probably have been too small.

I have mine set at 60, mold grows at 65 so thats all i am interested in preventing. The lower you go the higher your energy consumption will be (exponentially), if i were you i wouldn't go lower then 50%

no pump but it has a drain on the back you can screw a hose to to run to a floor drain or a condensate pump

You could try this if you're looking for a dehumidifier with a pump. In store clearance at $148. My local canadian tire still has stock despite this deal being posted in May. Probably has something to do with it being not advertised, not even on the price tag.
