Frozen pizzas have jumped in price

Never buy these when not on sale but was astonished a delis so is 6.99 now. Has it always been like that?

Food prices have gone up so high lately.

Which store? Check Costco, it will be cheaper there.

Delissio and Rustico $3.99 this week at Food Basics. Never pay full price for frozen pizza.

You get way better value waiting for dominos to be 50% off, then freezing the slices. you can re-crisp the crust after microwave on a pan - it isn't that hard and is still faster than cooking it from frozen.

You pay tax on ready to eat pizza (and delivery charge and tip). There is no tax on cold pizza.

Shopper's drug mart regular retail for frozen pizza has been $8.99 forever...maybe it's just their way to make you think you're getting a deal when you see a $4,99 sale price
(even though Basics will have the same pizza on sale for $3.99)

$6.99 does surprise me though. I thought all grocery stores (etc) were charging a regular retail of $7.99 when the pizza is not on sale.
The thought I do ponder is that maybe $3.99 is all they ever wanted in the first place, but they want us all to believe we are getting a great deal...(??)

I end up with the THIN & CRISPY from PC. On sale you can get it for $2.99. I add some of my own toppings and once in a while I have PC Plus points and a coupon on top.

ppl buy these at regular price? They're almost always on sale at different grocery stores. For $6.99 might as well get a fresh pizza

I've given up on Delissio Thin Crust. They've changed the recipe twice by making it a thicker dough and recently less sauce. In the past year, I find they've added less toppings on their meat lovers, making it taste like bread.

UM that would be $7.99, one topping only, plus tax, once a week.

I only buy on sale - sale prices are the same as they have been for a while.

Maybe regular prices have gone up a little but having just come back from Florida I can tell you we are getting a heck of a deal on frozen pizzas in this country!

Delisso reduced the size a few years ago. Skimping on toppings would be the next logical step.
