With Bidpay (Western Union) gone, I don't think there is a good alternative yet. There are other pay services like Stormpay, Hyperwallet and the such but unfortunately not a lot of sellers use or support them.

Frustrated with paypal
Having made my first foray into the e-bay world (and subsequently getting a great deal on a purchase), I've been disheartened by the delays and irritation caused by paypal registration. Is there any alternative to paypal or do I keep sending money orders/cheques for every purchase?
I have been hearing reports of G-Buy and E-bay itself discourages sending money via WEstern Union and the like._______________

Yeah for my purchase, the buyer wanted either a money order or paypal, so I had to mail a MO to him (I think its like $5 for a MO)

You don't have a credit card?
Having a credit card and buying via paypal is extremely convenient and easy for the buyer.

Paypal is easy to sign up for, I don't see how you are having any problems. Then again, I signed up 3 years ago, maybe they've made it harder to sign up since then. Still, signing up and getting verified wasn't hard.
