Is there a 12 month contract?
What is your monthly fee after the 3 months?
What is the cancellation fee?
Come on dude, you gotta provide more details.

No contract,
after 3 months it will be 44.95,
It does not mention cancellation fee, so I think do not need to worry about that.

Mar 6th, 2006 09:23 PM #6So they give you $10 + 3 months of free service with no contract? Are you sure you didn't imagine this deal. Why would they do that? It makes little sense.

They've offered it before (with no $10 gift card). Usually valid for both Rogers & Bell.

I think if you buy a router (any router) or an XBOX, you are eligible for the offer.
So take the $10 gift card, use it against the purchase, get the 3 months of free high speed...
You can return the router (or XBOX) the next day.. or within a month... doesn't affect the deal.
I was offered the deal when I bought the BLANC router from Futureshop. I had to return it within the week because it sucked. But the deal still stands.
Good Luck all.

This offer is nothing new and it is available at all futureshop stores. I used to work there so that's how I know. Christmas time was a better offer though they were giving a $200 giftcard with a 1 year contract if I remember correctly. It maybe still available but im not sure.

I signed up last year for a 6 month contract with $200 gift card at FS, first month was free then after $44.95/mth (6 months was probably a mistake on FS ads).
After the free month, I signed up for Bell's one bill plan. They transfered my Sympatico billing to Bell's one bill and sure enough charged a $150 cancellation fee. Got that reversed as I didn't cancel Sympatico and they made another mistake by adding an additional $10/mth discount on top of the $5/mth one bill discount. Been paying $30/mth for broadband. You just gotta love Bell's billing system.

Mar 7th, 2006 12:33 AM #14I just signed up with Rogers. I dropped by the FS at 16th and Yonge (Richmond Hill) - they only had a Bell deal going (3 months free, plus some other stuff, I forget). One of the sales guys came by and when I asked for Rogers, he immediately offered this unadvertised deal on Rogers Express:

I asked about Rogers Extreme and he said no. Sounded good and I signed up. When Rogers called, I asked again if I could get the same deal with Rogers Extreme - person said it was possible.
Anyway, that's what I have now.

This is nothing new. I got it last month too, after getting the letter from Rogers that they're upping their service charge by $2/mo.
