Got this as an xmas gift...i look goofy in it when i tried it on. So it's BRAND NEW WITH TAGS. Just been on my head for about 30 seconds (ripped it off before anyone saw me with it on...needless to say, it never left my apartment! )

Wool and viscose blend.

Anyhow...

Asking $40 now...

I think Holts sells this thing for around $70 if I'm not mistaken...
someone else can confirm/deny this?

anyhow...it's a steal at the price i'm posting it for here at any rate.

why don't you just take it back to holt's for store credit? say you got it as a gift
if you want to be extra prudent about it, go to their chocolate section or whatever (where they have huge boxing day deals), buy some chocolate, you get the bag and the holt's tissue paper with the seal... take the hat back with the tissue, and speak to someone about it... even if they say you can't, you can always negotiate with them and be extra insistent... they've always been agreeable to customer wishes

I think that i'm gonna have to put this sale on hold for the time being since i need to re-visit the pricing...

AFAIK Holt Renfrew has a very liberal return policy. If you don't have the receipt, you should still be able to get store credit. If they currently sell the item, it should be really easy to get store credit (especially since the tags are still on it).
