FS/FT: LNIB Tamron 70-300mm VC USD (Canon mount) + Pro1D filter - SOLD
Sold on Kijiji.
I'm selling my amazing Tamron 70-300mm VC USD lens, in mint condition (minor damage on the front lens cap) with a 62mm Hoya Pro1 Digital filter.
This lens is absolutely amazing for the price; it's sharp even wide open throughout the focal range (f/4-5.6) and the VC (IS) is excellent down to 3-stops (I'm talking field use).
I've used it a fair bit in the 7-8 months I've owned it, but with care, as I do with all of my gear. It was my main lens when I went to Australia and Japan last year, and I'm glad I got it over the other choices I had for lenses at the time.
I've "upgraded" to the Canon 70-200mm f/4L which I just bought a few hours ago for an insanely low price. I don't think it's that much of an upgrade though; they even out at f/7.1 or so and the VC on the Tamron is definitely helpful at long lengths. The extra 100mm of range is also great to have. I think I'll have to get a 2x extender to make up for that...
Anyway, I'm looking to get about $380 for the lens with all the original bits and pieces in the original box plus the aforementioned Pro 1D filter.
I'm open to trade offers too. I'm interested in full-frame-ready Canon lenses. I've specifically been looking for good copies of the Canon 20-35 f2.8L, 17-35 ff2.8L, Sigma 20/24/28 f/1.8, and generally lenses wider than 50mm.
Send me an offer, I'll respond in any case.
Samples shots with this lens can be found on my flickr/fluidr. Just look for the focal lengths between 70 and 300 (I haven't used any other zoom lenses for my flickr shots).
