I am looking to purchase a new laptop, can't decide which one of them is a better deal. Do you guys have any advice to help me choose between the two? (price very similar) Thanks in advance!

Is HP laptops reliable?
I used to own Toshiba laptops ever since i had one (had 3 so far), it has been great until the last toshiba laptop that i bought (total disappointment). This is why i am considering the switch to HP now (mostly because of the value and look).
I can't find any online reviews on the DV6660SE model, can anyone point me to any sites with a review on it?

No reviews exist so far as these models I think are Future Shop exclusive and are too new for reviewers to take the time to review.

Then I take my words back. Sorry i was under the impression 5400 only goes up to 200GB while 7200 goes up to 100GB.
nobusan: I've owned 3 HP laptops (although for only a month) in this summer. They have very good quality, great media functions and great looks.
By good quality I meant that everything is firm in its place. I had no keyboard problems, I had to "squeak" problems...everything was as expected
By great media features I mean that HP laptops ARE THE MOST MEDIA ORITENTED laptops out there. You get dedicated media buttons, a very tiny remote control that goes inside the laptop and tons of other features that make HP laptop much better than others when it comes to media. Other laptops concentrate on "business look" but HP is on media side. It comes with dedicated web cam and microphone. While you can get both for under $30, you must remember that laptop is a laptop, you dont want to carry a laptop and a separate webcam, mic, and other crap. HP has it all for media functions.
By great looks I mean that everything in the laptop looks nice. It glows blue under media control buttons. It has a nice sleek design and very sexy finish. It's very very bad on fingertips though. I always carried sunglass tissue with me. Always.
One thing I am totally disappointed with HP laptops:
Very poor battery life performance. Honestly when I say very poor I mean it. Unless you get 12-cell battery (twice more power than 6-cell) don't hope the laptop to last more than 2 hours doing anything. I've owned 3 laptops and all of them very very poor on battery life.
P.S. You are probably wondering why I owned 3 laptops:
1)I bought my first laptop this summer from Costco. It was HP laptop with 6 cell battery and 4200RPM hard drive. I returned it due to having a very very very slow hard drive. Windows took several minutes to load. It didn't last more than 1h45m on highest brightness listening to music
2)After I returned the laptop above and got myself same laptop, but with faster hard drive (5400RPM). I haver used it for a month or so, and then returned it to Costco again due to FutureShop selling a much much better laptop for cheaper on back to school special. I returned it and bought one from FS that came with 12-cell battery. This one also was 6-cell and also was very bad on battery life.
3)This one was smaller laptop (14.1 vs 15.4 for other 2). It had 5400RPM hard drive and 12-cell battery. It was very nice and very small which is what I wanted. However 12-cell battery was bit heavier and bit bigger, so it "tilted" my laptop. While this didn't bother me, it certainly was harder to carry around. I returned this laptop due to being very very disappointed with battery life. only 3 hours and some on full brightness. Somehow the website showed 6-8 hours but never trust website/salesman because they do false advertising. None of the laptops are up to their standards. When it says it lasts 4 hours on 6-cell, expect 2 at max. When it says 6-8, expect 3-4 hours.
Eventually, I had to decide...either get used to size of 12-cell battery and not being able to carry it around like a 6-cell...or get used to the fact that 6-cell battery dies very very fast. I just said "F*ck it" and returned it too.
Here are some pictures to show you difference between 6-cell and 12-cell.
