note to everybody, only buy flash drives if you need them. i know that sounds really obvious but prices are dropping so fast, in 6 months you could probably get a 8gb for that price.

how many of you have like 5+ usb drives at home?

FYI, the speed of this model DTI/4GBCR is very slow. Big storage does not make much sense for slow read/write speed.

Agree. According to FS, it's rated 1.5MB/s (write) only. For 1GB or lower, it may be ok. For a 4GB drive, it does take a looooooonnnng while to fill this thing up.

For a few bucks more, you can have this screamer rated 17MB/s write ... http://www.canadacomputers.com/index...72&cid=990.420

So I personally think this deal is warm at best ...

Good advice. I only have a 256mb drive, but it suits my needs. In terms of micro/mini/SD cards, I maybe have half a dozen ranging in size from 256mb to 2gb.

Stay away from OCZ drives unless you don't care if your drive dies with your data on it. I've had 2 fail on me now. You get what you pay for with OCZ.
