Isn't there a thread for a Panasonic Plasma for $999 floating around? I'd go with a Panasonic over an LG any day when it comes to Plasma.

Hahaha, yeah, I started that one too... and the Panasonic seems to have gone back up in price to $1199.

Sweet, It makes me feel even better about my purchase of this unit when it was 999.99.

I will buy this TV for the first person who replies to this thread*. That's how good this TV is. That's how much faith I have in this TV.

*Just kidding. But seriously if I was a millionaire I really would.

Is this a HOT deal at all?

I can't seem to find any reviews of this tv on CNET. Can anyone recommend a site or review?

Can anyone give any feedback based on their experience with this tv?

Thx.

just got this tv home and its amazing! i cant believe how clear the picture is! even when i get really close to the television. 50" is a good size for me as i am watching from around 15-16 ft. but like i said even going close to the tv its clear! and i have it only hooked up woth coaxial for now!!
i cant wait to see it via hdmi at 1080i so far i recommend this tv wholeheartedly! will come back when i have more info. :)

Better speakers and maybe one extra input over 50PG20/50PG10. 50PG25 is heavier. Comparison:
http://ca.lge.com/en/products/compare/d ... G10,.jhtml

50PG10 has been 997 or so at Costco for a while now. There was an LG $100 instant rebate for a while.

My 2c, I'd buy a TV at Costco over Future Shop any day unless FS throws in a 2 year warranty for free. And even still I'd think twice.

Cheers!

Why does the first review list this display at 1024x768 pixels? Future shop list as 1366x768 pixels.

Who is correct?

Thanks Gil
I was at Visions last night, although they have listed it for $10xx, but they were willing to sell me for $797. I guess, it is an older model so they want to clear it from their floor.
