FS Not matching Tigerdirect Anymore

I went to futureshop yesterday to get a 106 inch 16:9 screen for may projector that they sell at 299. Wen i showed them that TD sold it for 215, they told me that they were not price matching tigerdirect. I fanally got the screen for 249.

ymmv on pricematching TD with futureshop or any other retailer that has pricematch policy.

I'd ask to see where it says that they only price match certain stores. You can call their head office and file a complaint. Most times they will call the store manager and you will get the price match.

I'm not surprised about this. Tigerdirect does a LOT of grey market product, which has no support by local brand offices. Futureshop probably has higher costs, and other obligations for their distributorships. It wouldn't make much sense to price match a questionable company like that.
