That's a pretty hot price! BB has the same price for the 64GB one.

64GB Ultra:

32GB Extreme:

http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/san ... 74247.aspx $49
Im thinking about swapping my 64GB Ultra for the 32GB extreme if the extreme is a much better card.

Sounds like it is.

The Extreme card uses Ultra DMA technology to achieve read and write speeds that are double the speed of an Ultra card. Ultra cards read and write at a maximum of 30 MB per second, except for the 2GB version which only has a 15 MB per second maximum. Extreme cards read and write at a maximum of 60 MB per second.
Pictures vs. Video

Because of their larger storage capacity and higher read/write speeds, Extreme cards are suitable for storing pictures and recording video. Standard Ultra cards can only store pictures, although the SanDisk Ultra SDHC cards can support video. The 64 GB version of the Extreme card guarantees a minimum sustained recording rate of 20 MB per second, which is fast enough to successfully record true HD video on the card. Ultra cards do not support HD video.
Additional Technologies

Extreme cards were introduced to the market after Ultra cards and contain a number of technology enhancements that Ultra cards don't have. For example, SanDisk created a card controller technology for parallel processing to increase speed and included it with the Extreme cards. Extreme cards also contain additional silicone coating to protect against moisture and humidity.

32GB class 10 cards where on sale on boxing day, and other sales randomly for anywhere around $18-$23. 64gb card is good deal, but 32gb is not. I picked up my 32GB class 10 for $18. Personally the cards should be considered a good deal if they are around $20 for a 32GB.
I have one of the patriot cards and can say it's been great for speed, I use it for video recording, playback, picture taking, etc.

But I got it for $18 not $20.99 which is still a great deal. I know others have said things about failure rates and what not, I have never experience an issue however long with lots of good reviews.

only 30Mb/s?

ugh
Unless you have a *very* fancy camera, none of the regular DSLRs really make use of that. For example, the Canon 60D was tested and absolutely no difference observed between 30 MB/sec and upwards. Burst mode in cameras has more to do with the camera processor, and not so much speed of card - clearing the buffer on the 60D was equally fast on both cards.

The Nikon 5200, for example, will take 1-2 additional shots before the buffer fills up on the 6fps setting. But for MOST applications 30MB/sec will be enough.

Anyway, the 32GB Extreme card is the perfect balance :)

Might pick the 64GB up for the Toshiba AT300 tablet. From what I've searched of various reviews, it does state up to 64GB, can anyone here confirm for me?

Some of the reviews talk about the different speeds when copying content using a USB 3.0 card reader (which is faster than the memory card transfer speeds) http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Memory-C ... ewpoints=1

BUYER BEWARE: Before you all hop on over to grab one of these, make sure your device is compatible with the SDXC format. There IS a difference, and if your device is not compatible, then it is quite possible that it will NOT work with your device period.
