Outline for the most part goes like this:
Course (if applicable)
Author

Price
Other notes
===
David Benatar
life, death, & meaning – Key philosophical readings on the big questions
0-7425-3368-9
$20
Paperback. Has a big crease along the middle vertically. Otherwise inside is in perfect condition.
BIOL 3155
Nicholas H. Acheson
Fundamentals of Molecular Virology
978-0-471-35151-1
$70
Paperback. Has a bit of writing mostly in pencil on the first few pages (bought this book 2nd hand from someone who dropped the course very shortly after). Front cover perfect condition, just those little things inside.
BIOL 3200
Jan Sapp
Genesis – The Evolution of Biology
978-0-19-515619-5
$20
It seems like the prof (ie. the author) is permanently stoned. That is all.
BIOL 3130
Robert F. Weaver
Molecular Biology – 4th ed.
978-0-07-299524-4
$100
Hardcover. Inside is perfect condition. Outside “looks” used.
BIOL 3110
Benjamin Lewin
Genes IX
978-0-7637-4063-4
$100
Hardcover. Most likely a bit out of date (they’re probably on X or XI by now) but should still be usable. May seem high priced, but consider that the YorkU bookstore is selling a brand new copy of X for $200+tax!!!
BUY THE BIOL 3110 AND 3130 BOOK TOGETHER FOR $180!
BIOL 2030
Cleveland P. Hickman Jr. et. al.
Animal Diversity 4th ed.
978-0-07-252884-2
$40
Softcover. It is out of date by 1 ed but should still be usable. Check with your prof. Who will be Scott Kelly if you go to York. And he is full of awesome.
BIOL 2020 / BIOL 2021
Bruce Alberts et. al.
Molecular Biology of The Cell – 5th ed.
0-8153-4105-9
$100
Hardcover. Easily the most useful textbook I’ve used for the past few years. In fact I hung onto it for 3rd year because it was still useful even after my 2nd year course but I’ll part with it now. Also includes the media DVD which has very useful information, animations, and additional chapters. I almost want to sell it for more.
OTHER BOOKS/MAJORS/COURSES:
AP/EN 3060 – Healing Fiction: Literature and Medicine
Wade Davis
The Wayfinders
$15
Susan Sontag
Illness as Metaphor and AIDS and Its Metaphors

Buy all (EN 3060) for $30
Local deals only (...)
Can meet in Markham or at York.
PM me if interested.
I can also take more pics of the textbooks conditions upon request.

Two questions:
1. Who did you have as your professor?
2. Do you have old tests?
I am taking it right now, but have the textbooks already, but am looking for some recent old tests.
BTW, do you have other books that were used recently from other classes?

ECON1000 - John Paschakis. Definitely don't have his old tests. They were dirt easy, all multiple choice, and (hint) half of them were from the old edition study guide which I have.
MATH1505 - Alfred Pietrowski. I can try to dig up some old tests. I did SO horrible in them I ended up throwing them around randomly, embarrassed to look at them again, but I'm sure they're just somewhere around my room.

John Paschakis was great. Wish I had him for ECON 1010 as well, but I had Leland Paul. As a warning to all future students, DO NOT TAKE LELAND PAUL AS YOUR PROF FOR ANYTHING. That guy was extremely hard to understand and couldn't teach anything.
Anyways, I have the 5th edition as well, and as per fall of '06, the 5th edition textbook worked well (John even said you can use it is pretty much the same). However, I think the chapters were switched around a bit for the later half of the book (covered by ECON 1010).

yeah I back that up, John Paschakis was a humour machine and I don't think he even means to be half the time.
