Fuild brand LCD TV???

My local The Source store has an on sale 24" LCD TV. Its specs and discounted price looks great - especially for our HD needs. However, I've never heard of Fluid brand before. And, cannot find much on google search either. If you have experience with this "Fluid" brand, please advise.

thanks.

Intertan created a LLC named Orbyx Electronics to handle the import of ODM (rebranded) Chinese-manufactured goods. Centrios, GnarlyFish, HeadRush, Fluid, Nexxtech, Inspired Solutions, Home Guardian, i-next, Wasaki, LiquidVideo, Sector7 and Verge brand names all fall under the Orbyx purview.

If I need a small cheap TV, I may consider it. Whether a HDTV looks good or not depends a lot on the content you feed it. This baby has the connection and best of all ATSC tuner...24" 1080p for the price or the Samsung T220HD (1680x1050 22" HDTV with ATSC tuner)

Hard to say, but could be as good or bad as a Haier or any other Made in China TV.

Sometimes the only way to know is to live with it for a while.

I would stay away from this. The Source+no name brand tv=disaster.

I bought a Samsung LCD TV/Monitor, 24" 1080p for our kitchen from Costco a few months back for the same price (~$250ish)...

I would just wait until there's a decent deal on a brand-name TV.

Thanks for everyone's feedback.

As majority have recommended, we'll PASS on this "on sale" item.

Will focus on major brands instead.

thanks.

My theory is that if you're going to buy something expensive like a flat panel TV, buy a legitimate name brand.
