Is Amazon.ca an authorized Fujifilm retailer? I just want to make sure the Fujifilm warranty covers purchases from Amazon.

Is Amazon participating in the battery grip promotion? I see no indication on the website that they are and the price for the X-T2 with 18-55mm lens is $2326.66. That seems like a pretty good price! It'll be even better if I can get the battery grip as well.

Yes Amazon.Ca is an Authorized Fujifilm Dealers - I bought my Battery Grip for My X-T2 about a Month and a Half ago and Checked with Fujifilm Camaera and their Reps before buying Directly from Amazon.Ca

Thanks for the confirmation Eric, but is Amazon.ca participating in the battery grip promotion?

Doesn't look like it, best to buy from a local store.

Anyone with X-T2 experiencing any of the random freezing issues mentioned online? Causes seem to vary quite a bit. Some think its battery, some think its grip, some think its memory card related.

I shot over 15k shots with my X-T2 and only froze once. I recently started shooting with a grip and I shoot with Lexar (RIP) cards

However I do have 2 sensor dusts under the filter so I can't get rid of them. And apparently this is not covered by Fujifilm Canada. And I also can't afford to lose my X-T2 for weeks at the repair center.

I saw a few posts up that in Montreal there will be free sensor cleaning this Saturday. Would that solve your dust issue?

And yes, I read about Lexar. RIP.

Nope since the dust is under the filter. A simple swab does not do the trick.

Aden will likely beat Amazon's price. You just have to email them for quote.

Is Aden a reputable dealer? I have never dealt with them before. I have been advised to give the Camera Store in Calgary a look. I'm thinking of emailing them to see if they'll match Amazon's price.

Aden is an official Fuji dealer, reputable and will give you the best prices in Canada. Fuji is their main brand. Ask for Andy, he's a good guy and doesn't screw around..
The prices on their website are mandated by Fuji, but they will give you a better price than what's listed. You can request a quote by email. If you don't want to buy at Aden ( no reason not to) you can use that quote to try get Henry's to pricematch (you can request Henry's pricematch by email as well)
Aden has the best prices because they don't have to recycle returns---- "All sales are final. Aden Camera offers 10 days for exchange on defective merchandise only"
