Thanks.

When you say not as good as Sony, are you speaking in terms of speed or accuracy, or both?

Also, are you talking mark3 Sony's, or the earlier mark2 versions?
MarkIII Sony cameras

Sony's accuracy seems better in finding the eyes when subject if moving. IMO speed should be similar, if not better on Fujifilm. For eye focus, accuracy is better in my opinion.

I should've brought my 35/1.4 to test because I saw a YouTuber say that he found this lens had a lot less hunting on the X-T3. In low-light, this is so bad on my X-T1 that I often I just manual focus.
The 35mm 1.4 is already a lot better with the X-T2 update that came out last. I shoot a lot of weddings and it was hunting before the update. It is now a lot better than older DSLRs like the Nikon D810 in low light conditions.

Haha... I had no idea what "eye focus" was... I thought it meant the viewfinder / eye-cup had a way of figuring out what you're looking that and switch focus point to that!
Revolutionary times must on occasion make do with considerable abridgements in order to accentuate the political line more strongly.

Think it'd be similar for the 23 1.4 and/or 56 1.2?

I always found the 23mm to be the faster than the 35 or 56 so I don't see any worries with that one. As for the 56mm, I never used mine in a dark environment but from what others are saying, quieter than the 35mm but slower.

Looks like stores are already getting their stock of X-T3s in Canada but aren’t allow to sell them until Thursday.
Some people just don't get that online forum posts shouldn't always be taken seriously.

Do they still hand out rebate coupons during these events? Usually, it's $50-$100 off a camera.

They still hand out the $50.00 Mail In Rebate...

I've seen people listing the coupons on Kijiji in the past which is Lame but to each their own...

Usually you can get the $50.00 Mail In Rebate Coupon at the store if you ask for it.

Yeah there is an embargo and whoever is caught delivering in advance risk losing their license to sell Fuji gear.

There’s lots of silver stock from what I hear from multiple vendors. I do like the look of the silver after seeing it IRL, but I like to have an Arca plate/grip permanently attached. So that silver bottom + black bottom is going to look odd.

My X-T10 and my X-T2 are black, so tempted to buy it silver just to have a change. But yeah, I am also a grip user so that sucks. I'll see how it looks with the grip.

During the Fujifilm Event at Lozeau it was only the Black X-T3s with the Battery Grip while the Silver X-T3s were without...

But yeah that Silver Model...

Hmm... I read some comments saying the colours of X-T3 is off, checked on DPReview and it seems to be true... :(
