Fusion or Acura TL?

Hi: I’m still in the research mode planning to buy though in the next 2-3 weeks just had to get the $$$$ together (minor detail, LOL). After alot of reading, still leaning towards a 2011 Ford Fusion SEL V-6. However now thinking about a 2007-2008 Acura TL as either car will have between 65,000-85,000km’s on them which would be a better choice to have for say 5-6 years? If I go with the TL what problems do they have (Like say transmission, etc?) also what about parts cost for both cars/availability? Thanks as usual!!!

As long as you buy 07+ TL's then you should be fine transmission wise. IMO the TL will be the more refined/luxury car between the two.

Parts cost might be a bit more than the Ford but then again its an Acura which is a Honda which you know never breaks down.

If buying the Fusion used then buy the Acura TL. Better car.

If Fusion is new, Fusion, unless you like a surprise box

Acura TL. Japanese cars tend to have a better reliability IMHO.

Yes. But 2011 cars tend to still have a warranty.
