When you add the item to your cart, they ask for your postal code to calculate shipping costs (if there are any). You won't be charged anything as long as you do not confirm/submit the order.
From what I've heard, there's been a small shipping fee added for DVD orders.

Future Shop
On there site they claim that shipping is "sometimes free" with ground delievery.
How do you know if its free or not? Does it go by a certain weight limit? I wish to purchase rom there but would rather not drive out of town to get it if shipping is free. Place is about 20 minute drive from my house. Thanks for any info. Apologize if this is in the wrong forum.Last edited by MC_Renzy; May 31st, 2006 at 06:55 AM.

Thanks for the info. It shows the card as being shipped for free. I wonder though, once I show them a lower price from another canadian site, will they add the shipping charge seeing as theyll have to lower there original price by 10% of the competitors. Anyone have any experience with this?

They have been known to do that sometimes, depending on how much of a price difference there is. Someone at the order center will e-mail you back confirming the price match and whatever charges they may add on to the order. You can then accept or cancel the order if they try to pull a fast one on you and add shipping charges.

I had an associate at Futureshop PM a small computer store like those for a Sound Card bundle a few years ago.
They probably will consider it. You can always send a PM request, but expect Futureshop to take the shipping cost of the other store into account when price matching--they'll add whatever cost shipping is to your postal code to the price that they will match.

anitec is actually considerd a premium store. Etc computer on the other hand is considered small potatoes compared to the bigger retail stores.
