RC-61 doesn't exist. RC would be a Reference Center with one 6".
RC are center, RS are Reference Surround and RB are Reference Bookshelf. RB-61 and RS-42 are nice with the RF-82 or RF-62.
RC-62 is mandatory for RF-82 and recommended for RF-62, the fact that it is 299$ makes it a no-brainer.
For the Sub, i highly recommend the Klipsch Reference RW-12d at 299$ at newegg.COM if you have an amerifriend. Currently OOS, it's unbeatable for 300$.
Receiver really depends on your specific needs.

I just ordered the RF-82s, but I just measured my home theatre stand and the area for the center speaker isn't big enough for the RC-62. FRIG!@!!
Is there an alternative someone can recommend that is smaller in width?

The RC-62 is the only real proper match for the RF-82s. I've been waiting to replace my RC-52 for a while, every time the 62 had been on sale I've missed it. Just ordered it.

That said, if you *have* to have something smaller, the 52 will do. If you're interested in buying used, PM me.

Agreed 100% my old setup was rf62s with rc52, then I upgraded to rf82s and the rc52 was underpowered.

I've ordered the RF-82,RC-62 and RPW-10. I currently have a Polk PSW110 sub and also looking at SW-110. I never used Klipsch sub before. Any recommendations for me to choose the sub? Also need recommendation for receiver to match with the new speakers (support 7.1 and within $1k budget).

For the receiver, go and audition a bunch with the RF-82s. I've said it many times on this forum - the RF-82's are very bright (klipschorn) and need to be paired properly for your ear. I'm using a Pioneer 1019 and it's not well matched for me.

I was in the same boat. Luckily I found a buyer for my RC-52 so I bought the RC-62 this time around.

Keep in mind these are discontinued models. Not that it really matters that much.

Yes it is "only" 5.1 (with zone 2 line out) but it's still a very good price for the AVR-1713. Not everyone has the want/need for 7.1+.
