[Future Shop] Future Shop LG appliances sale, web error get an additional 10% off the flyer

Future Shop has a sale on LG appliances - 10% off. The flyer price already included the 10% off but if you buy through the website they are taking another 10% off. Don't know if this was a web error because ususally thats the way they do their sales, but the flyer states the price already includes the discount.

I also price matched at Sears and got 10% off the difference in price. I purchased an LG 2301 Washer (4.2 cu. ft.) & Dryer (7.3 cu. ft.) for $1403.

I called Sears to price match the 2901 LG washing machine and dryer but the guy said he couldn't do it because Future Shop ordered like, 10,000 of them had had a special price from the manufacturer because they bought in bulk. Or some bull**** story like that.

I got put off by that, might just buy directly from Future Shop...

Ok, this is what I don't understand. If you have a price match policy and if you sell the same product then you price match it, no exceptions.

Does it say anywhere, well if the price is too good then your out of luck?
If the company can't honor their policy then they should remove it.

I would say get back in there and raise a stink, I know it has worked for other RFD'rs. Ask to see a copy of their price match policy and look for the opt out clause that they allude to. Talk to the manager.

At Sears they call it a a Price Match Guarantee. That's a guarantee. Though it does says you must request it in person.

I took I print out of the Future Shop product page with the color I wanted and a print out of the price, after I added it to the shopping cart. I had no problem getting 10% of the difference.

I'd go back because the price at Future Shop for your model is $2025 and Sears is $2800, a difference of $775 before taxes. That's an extra $77, that'll cover the cost of delivery.

Here is the link to their Price Match Guarantee.

After buying two crappy (3 break downs) LG appliances and then seeing their failure rate, I can safely tell you to think twice about LG appliances.

I recommend printing out the policy and bringing it with you to show, along with the futureshop printout of the reduced price. Then, get the store manager if you don't get anywhere.

Every appliance is now made by LG, no matter the brand. Seriously. LG makes every part for OEMs. It's scary, actually.

There also an LG rebate promo on right now: http://lg.com/ca_fr/rebates-and-promoti ... pdated.pdf

Any comments on this gas range: http://www.sears.ca/product/lg-self-cle ... QAWidgetID

It's 1529.99 at FS vs. 1899.99 at Sears.

Price Match would be (1529.99-37.00+tax)= 1687.08 - $200 rebate = 1487.08 all in.

Seems like a good deal...
Duh, what do you want me to do?
