I wonder who lost the most money in this deal... FS or tsilon/G-list

You'll definitely need to spend that extra money on a big memory card if you plan to download videos/games on the Vita.
YouTube support just came out today, wow some HD videos look great on the Vita screen (mostly k-pop vids lol).
So glad they finally added it, I'll be using it more now

Waiting for re-stock but I don't see the $50 Giftcard being offered anymore; could the deal be dead?
Congrats to those who got in on this!

Is it still possible to get it at $89.99 (after GC/coupons stacked) for in-store pickup?

I am seriously shocked at Sony. It is so cheap and generally anti consumer to sell a product that doesn't work out of the box. I can't believe this doesn't come with a memory card and uses proprietary storage memory when Sony already sells memory stick. I had assumed it would take a memory stick, but I was wrong. I should have checked, especially knowing it's Sony I'm dealing with...

Yeah, not only does it not take a microsd which are dirt cheap, it's using an entirely new proprietary technology. But knowing Sony, we really shouldn't be shocked.

I mean sorry, I would like to say that after all discounts, the PS Vita console will be "$100 + taxes" if I considered the deduction of that extra gift card.
I paid $149.99 + ($7.50+ $14.96)taxes= $172.45
After all, I received another $50 In-store gift card for next time use, which i used for a 8Gb Memory card like others.

How can I fix the "exceeds forums quota issue"?
Anyway, no big deal, you do not need to trust me. Thanks for pointing out and I am able to clarify what I would like to say. Sorry about that.

No, we shouldn't be shocked. Even worse is the proprietary USB charging mechanism that won't work with a universal charger. As if we don't have enough fricking USB cables and chargers.
As far as I am concerned, the Vita sucks, and I have one. After I finished Uncharted, the console basically became dead for me. Nothing worth playing left. The guys in the stores keep saying it sells well, but I just don't see why.

I successfully purchased a Vita for $99 in store an hour ago (right before close), so I wouldn't say the deal is dead, just YMMV. Bought it online with in-store pick up option, $199.99 - $49.99 tsilon coupon = $149.99. When I went to pick it up, as mentioned by others on here, the system literally forced the CS rep to give me a $50 gift card. Paid $167.54, minus the $50 gift card, for a net total of $117.54. Receipt:

Good luck!

Unfortunately, the deal is dead because the Vita is no longer $199.99 online. Out of curiosity, which store did you go to?

Same. I didn't expect FS would be so stupid to basically give $100 off so I didn't jump on it at $199.

Just requested it now through perks... How long does it take for the coupon to arrive, incase the deal is still live tomorrow? (Or maybe I can PM BestBuy)
