FutureShop: Klipsch Reference IV RF-82 Speakers $399ea

Just picked up a pair of these. They seem to be sold out everywhere, but I found a salesman (after visiting 2 other locations) who was willing to order them in from the warehouse for me. Turns out they had a pair in the back from a canceled install order so I just brought those home. Auditioned the RF-62's there and the sound was great so I can't wait to see how these ones sound, they are on the bright side but these are for a dedicated theatre room where these apparently shine. This is cheaper than US pricing and usually go for $699ea locally at retailers.

good price, i think they were being sold for $800 last boxing day too. I got mine on close out for $700 this summer and have been very happy. They are nice speakers, they sound and look great, no real complaints yet.

Mind you i'm not a real hi-fi guy so i don't really know how theses stack up in the grand scheme of things compared to other speakers... I also noted that they were a bit bright, but that is a common design to all klipsch speakers from what i've read, and i kind of like the highs.

i listened to the 62s and 82s side by side when i bought them and the 82s sounded beefier in the mids and lows, so i think you will be happy dude.

****UPDATE**** I see that Future shop has them on today only for $449/ea, almost there!
