Futureshop laptops help

Hey guys, need some major help.
I need a laptop asap, and i am looking at 4 of them at futureshop. I just want to know which one is better? (battery, reliability etc) I was looking at the HP, but heard that HP is not the greatest brand and battery life is crap

16" Toshiba

15" Sony, Gateway and HP

I know sony has a smaller HD, but that's not a problem for me.

I do want an i3 and i've heard sony tends to have a better battery life and keyboard is not bad either. I saw the HP today, but just not sure about it.

I'll really appreciate the help

I have the Gateway, it is a nice notebook. The i3 is fast, cool and quite. If you don't want to do any serious gaming, the Intel graphics handle day to day use just fine. It is 128mb chipset, so I am sure it could do some lite gaming, but not at high detail levels.

Non-issue for me, it is just a second computer in the house, with a little portability when needed. I have not used it yet, but the HDMI ports is a nice touch if you want to share stuff through a TV.

The Gateway will ONLY use up to 128mb for video ram (as per the descriptions) while the Sony (ick) and HP will use over 1gb if allowed. This means some games won't play on the Gateway.

The HP has a backlit LED and a 500gb HD. I would, of those three, chose the HP.

I don't like Sony, cuz you only pay extra for the name.
