No, they won't.
You also won't be able to buy it now and go back to have the difference refunded to you on Boxing Day, because customer service will be closed the first couple days of boxing week and no returns or pricematches will be possible during that time.

No one will even look at you on boxing day for a price protection. Just print your fs webpage screen and drop in a few days later when things have calmed down. Only thing you can't PP are door crashers.

Actually, some employees do know what they will have on sale for boxing day so you can just ask if the price will drop further for that particular item.

Good look "price matching" in the boxing day.
Last year the customer service at the 3 stores here in Montreal was closed

to be more specific, FS/BB will not be doing any returns/exchanges on 26th/27th, to accomodate for the expected increase in traffic.
for the past boxing days, FS/BB have been doing this - the CS desk is for purchases only. if you've made a purchase in middle Nov. to late Dec., the receipt will say so, and also tell you that returns/exchanges will be accepted 'til middle of Jan. 07.
--------
not sure about your FS/BB's, but the past few yrs that i've been at FS/BB boxing day / 27th, the CS desk was open, but only for purchases._______________

A couple of years ago I bought a portable LCD TV a couple of weeks before Boxing Day. So I returned a couple of days after Boxing Day when the return counter was opened and asked for a price match since the item was cheaper by $100.00. I was refused and given a info sheet that said door crashers and limited items do not qualify for a price match.
But the way to get around that is to buy the boxing day special and return the more expensive item for a refund. Most stuff except computers and monitors, digital cameras, camcorders, and printers allow for a 30 day return.
Too bad monitors are 14 day returns. Used to be only computers that had a 15 day return policy but FS expanded the exemptions.

have you ever thought about the possibility that if you CANNOT buy the boxing day spcl (due to ltd qty's, and you couldn't get your hands on one), then you'll be SOL and have to return the same item (more $$$ item)

---------
let's recall that last yr, their ISPU option did not exist ... so whatever isajoo said is another story.
now that ISPU is avail., that's nice but remember that if you order for ISPU, i doubt you'd get sth reserved for you; it'll prbly be cancelled due to the likeliness that
1) it's gonna be v. busy on 26th/27th
2) the CS desk will be v. busy taking customers - i doubt they'd get a chance on the ISPU orders...
3) hot ticket items will likely be swooped up by the customers long before the CSRs get a chance to grab one to put it on hold for you.Last edited by mahjongmaniac; Dec 19th, 2006 at 03:31 PM.

If I were to show up a couple of days after the sales are over with a printout of their flyer and my original receipt, chances are they will not pricematch?
In the flyer, all it says for the item in question is Minimum 10 per store. Would this be considered a limited quantity/door crasher item?
