If I were to show up a couple of days after the sales are over with a printout of their flyer and my original receipt, chances are they will not pricematch?

In the flyer, all it says for the item in question is Minimum 10 per store. Would this be considered a limited quantity/door crasher item?

altho it may not say doorcrasher, the min. qty still sort of implies "ltd qty"...

nope will not honor price protection for boxing day sales since as per the web page...

NO, i dont think instore pickup actually puts a hold on the computer, it is just on hold for you by a print out that is put on the item, on boxing day they will sell it no matter. it has to be purchased at the store, but u have to tell them that u will pick it up later and to just make a prepaid/deposit receipt, tell them u will pay the boxing day price and u will pick it up u after boxing day and you will not have to pay anymore because the amount owing will be 0. it was the most simple thing i ever bought on boxing day. FS rep actually told me to do it, so that he would get this commission on the day of the purchase. u have to do this end of the week so that u know the exact price it will be for boxing day.

i think u got lucky and had a rep who actually did it for you, maybe you bought a big enough item for the rep to do this for the commision, i doubt they would let you put a deposit on a $10 keyboard and mouse combo or sth cheap

as for ISPU, it might be doable, bestbuy/futureshop ISPU are held for 5 days, so there wouldn't be any trouble of CSRs trying to grab the item for u with a lot of other customers, however i'm unsure if they will handle ISPU on boxing day since the CSR counter is already closed and are only handling purchases

For boxing day ISPU order will only be good for that day supposely and will not be honored after that for some of the boxing day sales.


When the web says available in store only it will mean first come first serve at the store and ISPU orders will not be offered and will be cancelled.

well, for FS, it's the CSRs at the CS desk that fulfill the ISPU orders.
so, seeing that they're only open for purchases on the 26th/27th, the CSRs wouldn't even have the time to do it...

but for BB, i was told they have a separate dept. that handles ISPU orders; it's not the CSRs at the CS desk.


anyway, it's highly unlikely that FS/BB will fulfill any ISPU orders made on the 24th/25th for boxing day p/u....

During last year's boxing day sale, the web site said there is no ispu until January. So I expect that will be the same this year.

if u order anything online for pick up, it will says on the pickup email that the deadline to pick it up is by dec 24 4pm otherwise the order will be cancelled.
