Used to have the 12" version of the pan,. The non-stick material got damaged very quickly. If you take good care of it you can probably get 2 good years out of it.

What's a good non stick alternative? Cast iron?

Is there a safe non stick out there or is it just an oxymoron

actually I was kinda wrong on my last comment
for ceramic cookware, as long as buying it within Canada
it should be fine
"Some countries do not have the same strict lead and cadmium limits as Canada. If you bring in glazed ceramic cookware from abroad, be aware that it may not meet Canadian permitted levels for lead and cadmium."

Got this frying pan from CT.

The pan is very thin. Lasted less than a year before the teflon starts eroding.

It's clearly the low-end of T-fal. Don't bother buying that.
