G1 Written Test
I'm going to be taking the G1 written test very soon.
Anyone have any tips?
I have a question: Alot of the questions involve "150 metres". What are some of these things that involve 150M?
Thank you!

g1 test
The g1 test i found was pretty easy. The signs are pretty straight forward. Remember
1. when do you lend out your license
The answer is never i believe.
2. When you come to a stop sign.
the answer is procede when it is safe to do so
There are also questions that pertain to tire wear and distances from fire hydrants etc...
I think there are 4 different g1 tests if i can rememeber correctly. But the best thing to do is read the test prep book once or twice. After that you should be good to go.

Thanks for the quick replies.
I'm still looking for the "150 metres" question. Can anyone expand on this and tell me what "150 metres applies to?

You're just like most high-school students before a test, rather than actually learnign something, they just memorize it. This is called cheating!

Don't be put off by the fact that there will probably be several signposts which are not in the official driver's handbook publication at all and you will just have to guess. I really thought they were having a laugh with me when I did mine and saw things like that.
Do study the demerit points system - a few questions on that for sure (would be nice to think you should never need to know that of course).

Jun 21st, 2006 06:25 PM #13So do we need to basically memorize how many demerit points you lose for every infraction?
