No, you have to wait. Take a insurance approved class and you can cut down the wait a few months though.

is it true that if you get your g1 licence after you have already turned 18 you dont have to wait a year to to get your g2?

The rules are the same for any age or gender. There is no special rules for "special" people, everyone is treated the same
