Exactly...everyone in RFD is trying to save $.
I wouldn't pay that 20$ neither when I know I can get it free or as cheap as 2$.

I think that for less than 0.1% of the purchase price, I would want to get the answer straight from Carfax myself.

I spent nowhere near this $$ when I bought a car last year but since it was still many many thousands of dollars I didn't think twice to spend the 30 bux on a carfax to make sure whatever car I looked at checked out (at least as far as what a carfax can tell you).
