[Koodo] Galaxy S6 Edge 64GB/ LG Q Stylo+/ LG G6 - $40+tax [Existing Cust. Only - Targeted YMMV]

Still waiting for my P20 Pro that I ordered on Nov 20thCrying Face

Nevertheless, I already paid off my tab and when I logged in today it showed me the sale star logo at the top..
Basically Koodo offers additional discounts of various amounts depending on a model.
Big YMMV, but it worth checking the account if you paid off the tab and you need a decent spare device.

And yeah, if you didn't get the deal there is no need to rush with downvoting)
You might want to blur your phone number . . .

Is this with a new tab?

This is what I'm seeing for the LG G6:

You probably have a $200 hardware credit offer on on your account.

Where the hell did Koodo get these? A liquidation sale from the US? They just appeared on the Koodo site out of nowhere. $240+tax for a phone that was released in 2015??

I'll stick with my $70 Huawei P20. I'd grab it as a backup, heck I'd even pay $100 max for it, anything more and this b***h is ice cold.

Here's my idea, Koodo passes this old stock to Public mobile. Public announces a deal to their loyal clients, anyone who has been with Public for the 5yrs they have been around will be able to get the S6 edge for free if they prepay for 1yr of service. This way Public gets $240-480 and the client gets a "new" phone, no tab as they have already "paid" for the phone, so they are welcome to leave if they get a better deal, then again someone who's been with them for 5yrs might stick around longer.

You’re likely the only person who has been with them for 5 years - great deal for you lol

Yes, there is a $200 credit on those. However, it is less on other models so it is not a fixed amount.

I have not, I was only with them for about 1yr on the original $40/12GB LTE plan, then I went to Koodo 6GB for $40, and now 8GB for $40.

Although I know a few people who still have enough referral credits and 4GB a month is sufficient for them. So it's not like there would be 100,000 plus people, but there are still lots of people that have been with them since the beginning and this would kill 2 birds with 1 stone, reward them with a phone and also Public gets $ up front for 1 year.

I would stay away from the Galaxy S6. I had that phone and the battery life was terrible. The only saving grace was the fast charge capability.

I saw the prices for these three phones are all $10 for 24 months. It's too much that buy three year old Android phones for $240.

How do people get these $200 hardware credits on their accounts? Is it from calling in and complaining/requesting? I've been with Koodo 1-2 years now, a few lines, and have never seen anything like that. Sale star logo deals, sure, but never additional credits on top of that.

These "deals" seem to really stretch the definition of YMMV. Anyone else getting this price?

Does that offer mean you get an additional $200 credit? Or the discount already includes $200 off?
