I just wanted to warn people about the PS3 controller they are currently trying to dish off to consumers like us.
I recently purchased a dualaxis PS3 controller from Gameyeeeah.com while they were having a promotion which was 35% off. Well I got fooled once more from the interweb and the saying "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" can't be anymore right.
This was the promotion that was going on but has now expired.
I received the package today that contained a PS3 controller and a PS3 charger. Packaging was kinda of crappy since they cramped two packages into a small box which made them have to cut the top edge off from the PS3 package to make it fit into the shipping box.
I wasn't too concerned with the packaging but I wanted to leave a comment on it before I move on to my main problem.
After I opened the package which contained the PS3controller. I tried syncing up the controller to the PS3 console but it would not sync up at all and the only lights that were flashing was 1 + 2. I tried to reset the controller only to find out there is no reset button at the back(lolz) and you can clearly see that it's only a hole and serves no purpose.
After closer examination and alittle research from the internet, I found this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mji_PLB7Tb0 which shows how to tell the controller is fake.
And this thread which discuss about the fake PS3 controller with model number CECHZC2H.
Not trying to bash Gameyeeeah but I just wanted to give anyone a heads up if they were planning to purchase this unit from asia to be careful because of all the fake controllers out there.
*Note - someone on the thread mentioned that the controller works pre-3.0 update and not post-3.0

Got caught by the same deal and purchased the same controller. 1 & 2 lights remain on.... Thanks for confirming my suspicion.
