GC vs. PS2 vs. XBOX
Has anyone played Madden 2005 and NBA Live 2005 for all three systems?
If, so were these games any better on one system than the other
BTW im particularly interested in comparisons between GC and PS2

If you're interested in playing it online, note that GC is the only version that does not feature online support for that game.

Well on the topic of graphics it normally goes XBox->GC->PS2.
(Xbox being the best, and PS2 the worst)

Pretty much the rule of thumb. Better hardware in that order.
I would imagine Xbox would have the best graphics. hit a site like gamespot, they review across all platforms and typically assign one system's version better then then others.

if you are into sports games...Xbox is by far the best out of the consoles out there..but just one suggestion..play ESPN games instead of EA..not only is it cheaper..its a much much better game across all the sport titles.

Well come next yeari f you want to play a football game with any referrence to the NFL you're stuck with only one choice, that being EA. Not sure if it'll stil lbe known as "Madden" 2006 as some site are saying EA is dropping Madden but this is just Internet talk.
Surprised no one has really talked about the NFL only allowin EA to use their license, especially when a lot of people preffered Sega's ESPN series, and most would agree it was getting a lot better every year.

People have gotten spoiled as of late with fully licensed games.
I remember way back in the NES/SNES days where it was pretty rare to find a sports game with every player. There was always that black guy with the shaved head who went by the name Gordan Michael.

LoL! Or 'Player #23'
Xbox > GC > PS2
BUT also consider the controller... you may find you like a certain system controller scheme better than other. That's a HUGE factor. I really like the Xbox S-Controller then PS2 Controller... everyone seems to like the GC controller but I don't.

I actually used to really like the original Xbox controller. But ever since gettinga controller-S with my crystal xbox I can't go back. It just feels so much better.

i find the GC controller only good for RPG games.... GC also has Mario Kart double dash!
PS2's controller is good... but its freakin outdated... and the layout is just not egonomic, oh not to mention the freakin LOAD TIME.. ugh... its soo dam slow... BUT.... PS2 does have the GT3 and GT4.
Xbox has by far the superior graphics... the small controller feels really comfy... and of course.... HALO.

I know what you mean.
I like the controller, with the exception of the right analog stick which is completely useless.

i've played NHL2005 on all systems, i like the xbox version only because of the controller, gameplay across the board was pretty much the same other than online capabilities.

I think it all depends on which exclusive games you like best.

Super tecmo bowl! It had almost every player in the NFL at the time (1989). It even kept a fairly long list of stats for the season!
I actually paid $90 for that cartridge - and I stlll play this game today, except not on my NES, I play it on my xbox through an emulator.
