top it off this deal was also on display for our american counterparts and I know a few of them went ahead and pulled the trigger too. Let's hope we all get our vacuums shipped out this week.

What kind of tracking do they provide you? I need something that gives me up-to-date by the day because of where it's being sent.

So ordered on 11/25 and still stuck on "Payment Confirmed (processing) Status" - funny how they charge your credit card immediately.
Why doesn't this joker company 1) send out an email saying shipment is delayed and 2) not charge the credit card until the item ships.

Has anyone had any prior experience with geekbuying and did they deliver?

It's finally here, just got it today. Sorry my earlier post said I ordered on the 26th, turns out family member ordered it way before I told him about it. It was actually November 20th and the order sat there until the 28th when it appeared in Singapore.

Yes, it updated as it went along. I had to pick it up from their service location though. I was hoping to check over how they calculated the duties before paying but the amount was firm and final.

duties or taxes?

I was thinking of complaining to geekbuying that due to these delays in shipping, they should be claiming these are warranty replacement vacuums for us all

First time poster, very long time lurker. I placed an order Thursday on geekbuying, it charged my visa. I went to check online the status and according to their site they have no record of my order or my login account. Emailed them this morning and been trying to livechat for the past hour and nothing. . . . I do have email confirmation as well.

Has anyone else experienced this, no record of order? maybe they need to input something but this seems very strange. I am 30mins away from calling visa and asking them to reverse the charge as fraud. . .
geekbuying is legit, but if your order is missing then you need to do something about it. Are you sure you provided the right password to login to your account? I believe the wrong password error message is the same as the "cannot find login" error.

There's
  • GST/PST/HST on Imported Goods
  • Duty
  • Processing Fee
  • Transaction Fee

I got some charges for all 4, but the biggest chunk was processing fee at $10.50

Thanks for the update! What was the total amount charged by DHL?

I ordered 10/27/2017 and got message that it was shipped 11/26/2017 12:00:00 AM with tracking info status "Shipment information received" november 22.
No progress in tracking info, but as I write this I checked and now the same tracking number shows "Shipment information received" but now dated december 6.

Trying to get refund from PayPal, but now it looks like they shipped it today, and the DHL info shipped november 22 is gone. Hmmm...

Legit but very shady and very dishonest. still no update from "Shipment information received" keep in mind as I ordered on Nov 22nd, 2017.

If you don't trust the site, just request for more information and/or dispute with the credit card company to get your money back. If you've paid with paypal (which is an available option), even better -- paypal will reverse your charges very easily.

I've ordered multiple items on non-busy times and it came without issues. I'm still waiting for mine and I ordered on the 23rd.
