Yes, it will work, very poorly. B7 is 2600MHz, is has very short propagation and pretty much zero in building penetration. When you do have a B7 connection you'll have great bandwidth because of it's shorter range, but on the whole expect your phone to spend the vast majority of it's time on 3G.
For those on the Bellus network the story is SLIGHTLY better. The phone has B5 for LTE. B5 (at 850MHz) has great propagation and in building pentration. That said, it is refarmed from 3G bandwidth, so is quite limited in speed. You will likely get a B5 connection whenever your B7 connection drops, but performance will not be great (still, probably better then 3G). In more rural areas you're in better shape then with Rogers since B5 is everywhere rural and again propagates quite well.
All of that said, I'd say avoid this version of this phone. Without B4 LTE your LTE experience will be very sub par in Canada. As a BARE MINIMUM you really do need B4 and B7 support to have a decent experience with the big 3 networks (this phone practically won't work at all with FM, don't bother). There are versions of this phone that support B4, go for those.
