Do choose the Official Global Version which has both hardware and software targeting world market.
Avoid Official Global Rom which has only software targeting world market e.g. Google Play Store pre-installed. But its hardware is targeting China users.

i don't see that price when i click your link and in any case, looks like there are cheaper options. i also would buy a glass screen protector and case separately. they'll be including the very crappiest ones.

additionally, this is like 6mths old now. isn't note 5 due out soon/already with global bands?

I have paid US$168.99 for the Note 4 + case + tempered glass before posting the link here.
Now the price has changed for this package.
The Note 4 alone is at US$168.99 now.
OP has been edited to show the Note 4 alone.

whoops yup

https://www.kimovil.com/en/where-to-buy ... 4gb-global

lowest price here 173.

i have the 3gb 32gb since it became available with global bands and i really like it too. battery life is insane and being able to use navigation and get lots of screen time and not even worry about an overnight charge sometimes is a sweet perk as compared to fancier phones. with google camera mod camera becomes passable. it's a great phone and im not a huge photographer but this experience does still make me realize i should shell out to get a phone with a great camera in future. really liberating having a fully functional phone (besides camera) that was so cheap that it isn't a huge loss to lose or break. flagship phone ownership is stressful!

Streetsville, Missis…
Good deal if you're paying in USD and getting cashback through BeFrugal. Around $200 CAD without shipping. I wonder if the price will come down more next year

Apparently Xiaomi mi band 2 may become unusable if you lost your phone, changed your phone or want to transfer to another family member, etc. Hope their phone is not same :(
Sorry, did not want to hijack a phone thread but they have one of the worst design of activity bands (keep popping up, lost, very short wrist band life, etc) and user interface/membership features and I'd stay away from their products.

I have the Xiaomi Note 2 and upgraded to Note 4. Both phones are well designed and of good quality.
I like the Note 4 so much that I have now ordered one for my wife.
By the way, my son is also using a Xiaomi Note 4 with great satisfaction. Its battery is insane - his words. His previous phone was Asus Zenfone 3.
Xiaomi phones are amongst the better known and higher quality China phones.

Not a band user to comment about such Xiaomi product line.

Having to choose between another SIM or a Micro SD is kind of a deal breaker for me.

there are some hoops to jumpy through to make this work if you're on the stock ROM i think.

i just went straight to lineage os cause i wanted the same kind of android experience i had been used to with my previous nexus phones, weekly security updates, plus google play services already has all my info and i didn't want to be sharing my identity with yet another big business, xiaomi.

this xda forum and the related telegram group have been really useful for tinkering.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi- ... o-t3656196

if you have omnivision sensor, google camera mod will have a pink tint but there are now other threads on how to fix that.

Wait for 11.11, this phone will be $160.99 US ($208.58 CDN) on Aliexpress. This is also for those that don't want to use geekbuying
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Global- ... 02957.html

You can add DHL shipping for a small extra (expect to pay duty and DHL customs fees) and get it quicker.
how much for duty and DHL customs fees

I paid US$8.90 for DHL when I bought one from Geekbuying.
I am expecting C$30 for customs and brokerage fee upon delivery by a DHL courier.
