Gender imbalance in developing world, any serious solution?
In China, men of marrying age are 24 million more than women of similar age. To make thing worse, the trend is on. Based on 2010 Chinese statistics, there are 118 boys born for every 100 girls, the highest sex imbalance in the world.
In India, sex ratio is for every 100 men, there are only 94 women. The ratio will be even lower for marrying age population.
In India "wife sharing" is gaining popularity based on this, where a wife serves several brothers in a household.
In China, prostitution is rampant and cheap, which might partly solve the hunger of restless men.
