So I got another email from Airmiles with a new bonus offer.
As a valued Cardmember, American Express®* would like to thank you and extend a special offer to you of 1,150 Bonus AIR MILES® reward miles1 when you enroll and use your American Express®* AIR MILES® Platinum Credit Card for qualifying purchases from November 1 to November 30, 2012.
1.Enroll for the offer at airmiles.ca/1150Bonus by entering your AIR MILES® Collector Number before November 30, 2012.
2.Charge a total of $XXX in purchases to your Card between November 1 and November 30, 2012.
It seems that the minimum purchase charges depends on your account status / credit limit? For me it said $950 after enrolling.
If your already planning a large purchase(s), this may be considered a freebie? or Hot Deal?

Definitely not a freebie, but if you have to purchase stuff anyways, then it's worth it.
What happens if you come up a little short with the minimum purchase requirement... You walk away with zero points?
If that's the case, then not even a hot deal.
