Get $20 to leave a positive Google review for Carrytel (target?)

I got an email from Carrytel, and they offer up to $20 to leave a comment for them. I'm not sure whether only can Carrytel customers get this offer.
To be eligible for the cash reward, I'm pretty sure you should give a 5-star and leave positive comments. After that, just send a screenshot or description of your comment to [removed]

Isn't that unethical for positive reviews only?

The email doesn't specify good feedback, it can be a bad one. But the "up to $20" make it sound like a shitty comment get a penny xD

Very unethical. They should get banned from RFD if this is true, similar to what a Chinese online retailer was doing to promote their stuff here.

I got the email, but it doesn't mention anything about requiring the review to be 5 stars or writing a positive review. I think even if you give them 1 star, they should honor their promo =p

Send this to Google. This shouldn't be tolerated and defeats the purpose of the review system.

it would be naive to think that only Chinese does this sort of thing. This happens everywhere.

Similar to offers for facebook likes. BTW, you can give a review then change it later.

OP's title is misleading and giving carrytel a bad rap as no where in the email says that it has to be a positive review  ...I suggest the OP to update ur title to reflect what is actually communicated

I really hope RFD doesn't delete this thread. This needs to be left alive and promoted and ranked high on google so other people easily find out about the scammy and shady tactics of Carrytel. Carrytel already has a terrible reputation on RFD but this is a new low.
